The Glen Echo Fire Department greatly appreciates your donation to CFC, especially now, coming out of the pandemic when our outreach opportunities to the community were, by necessity, greatly curtailed. Yet our service to the community continued without interruption during the past few, difficult years. Your donation will be put to good use in meeting the many daily needs of our 24/7 first response capability, in addition to payment for the new ambulance for which we contracted, due in early 2023. Partnering with the career staff from the county's Fire Department, over 65 well-trained volunteers serve the community. We will soon be launching our largest fundraising campaign to replace the current station house which came into service in 1953. Please call/email so we can answer your questions. In addition, we would love to thank you in person and show you the station house, it's equipment and fine first responders who are trained, equipped and eager to serve our community.
